Tender & Opportunity Intelligence
Know which bids to chase — and which to skip — in minutes. An AI agent reads incoming tenders, scores them against the company's actual capabilities, geography, and strategic direction, and produces a clear go/no-go recommendation. 3-5 hours of manual review reduced to 20-40 minutes.
The Problem
Every week, the business development team received inbound opportunities — RFPs, partnership enquiries, referrals, tender notices. The evaluation process was informal: someone senior would scan the document, make a gut call, and either pursue it or pass. There was no consistent framework, no documented reasoning, and no way to learn from past decisions.
The consequences were predictable. The team sometimes spent weeks on proposals for deals that were never a good fit. Red flags — unrealistic timelines, mismatched capabilities, low-margin structures — were spotted too late or not at all.
What We Built
A scoring framework — defined in collaboration with the leadership team. Every opportunity is assessed across weighted dimensions: strategic fit, delivery feasibility, commercial viability, competitive position, and risk profile.
An AI evaluation agent — reads the opportunity document (RFP, brief, email, or verbal description), cross-references it against the company’s knowledge base (services, capabilities, past experience, partner network), and applies the scoring framework. The output is a structured assessment: scores per dimension, an overall recommendation (green/yellow/red), flagged risks, and a plain-language summary of why.
A lessons-learned feedback loop — outcomes of pursued opportunities are fed back into the system. Won deals, lost deals, and abandoned bids all contribute to refining the scoring weights.
Structured output — every assessment follows the same template. Score card, risk flags, strategic notes, and a clear recommendation. Saved in an organised archive so the team can review patterns over time.
The Result
Senior people now spend time only on bids worth winning. The 3-5 hours of manual review per opportunity dropped to 20-40 minutes. The 30% reduction in low-fit pursuits freed up capacity for deals that actually mattered. Every decision has a documented rationale, and the framework gets smarter with each cycle.
